WordPress Vs Shopify : ecommerce

Hey Everyone,

I dabble in dropshipping, but I’ve seen a lot of people use Shopify. Not because it’s necessarily the best platform for them, but rather because that seems to be the go-to eCommerce platform. I think Shopify definitely has some great features; however, I’ve been using WordPress and I can honestly say that I feel 100% more confident in both my website and conversion rate. Here’s why first off WordPress allows for so much control over the look of your site. Many sites from Weebly, Wix, or even Shopify tend to look the same or rather blocky in design. This could just be a personal view, but WordPress sites tend to lend to more creativity. The second thing is WordPress allows for a variety of payment processors, granted Shopify tends to handle things like that for you. I prefer to be able to pick and choose all aspects of my site from the design down to the payment processors. It just makes me feel more in control. Lastly, the long term cost is nearly nothing. WordPress sites tend to not charge long term unlike Wix, Weebly, and Shopify. I believe you can still make free sites on those platforms, but you limit yourself in terms of features. Just a quick post to give a new perspective than what you’re use to
